Moving money between four account types sounds simple. Some of them won’t even talk to each other directly.
Card swipes, approvals and settlements arrive whenever they like. Someone’s balance can’t be “eventually correct”.
Not everything in a banking product happens the instant a user taps a button. A card swipe at a store, an account getting approved, a transfer finishing: these all arrive as notifications from outside systems, on their own schedule. I built the system that catches every one of those notifications the moment they land, routes each to whoever needs to react to it, and automatically recovers if anything along the way stumbles. Because when it’s someone’s account balance, “eventually correct” isn’t good enough.
